How many three-pointers did Nets rookie Egor Demin make this season?

Brooklyn Nets rookie guard Egor Demin had a solid rookie season for the Nets prior to his plantar fasciitis in his left foot ending his season prematurely in March. Many around the NBA had some questions regarding whether Demin could shoot from the perimeter an an effective level, but he proved to be far better than just league-average shooting from behind the three-point line.

Demin, 20, finished his rookie season with averages of 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 39.9% from the field and 38.5% from behind the three-point line. Not only did Demin break a Nets rookie record by making 124 three-pointers, but he also finished with the 56th-best three-point shooting percentage in the league.

While Nets fans are understandably wondering what Demin’s ceiling is given that he still has some experience to gain and maturing to do, he has already proven that shooting is no longer a concern for his profile.
