A top in-state prospect, four-star quarterback Kingston Preyear is reportedly down to six schools, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.
At 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, Preyear is an extremely talented quarterback that would undoubtedly become a star in Tuscaloosa should he commit to Alabama. The rising star is widely regarded as one of the top quarterback recruits from the class of 2028, as Preyear is expected to continue narrowing down his options over the next few months.
The highly-coveted prospect currently has Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt as his top six schools, and the Tide have remained a contender for the future star for quite some time now.
Preyear is ranked as the No. 4 quarterback and the No. 51 overall player from the class of 2028, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is listed as the No. 3 overall player out of Alabama as well where he attends Benjamin Russell High School, the same as current freshman wide receiver Cederian Morgan.
Alabama has slowly started to target some of the top overall talent from the class of 2028, as Preyear would serve as the Tide’s biggest addition to date should he choose the Crimson Tide.
