Darren Till fought through an early scare to deliver a memorable knockout finish in his bareknuckle boxing debut earlier tonight (Sat., May 30, 2026) at BKFC 90 from inside Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, as the former UFC welterweight title challenger stopped Aaron Chalmers with a nasty second-round knockout.
Despite not serving as the event’s headliner, Saturday’s BKFC 90 card in England was built around the debut of Till. After all, the English fighter was fairly popular during his time with UFC from 2015-2022 and has remained a valuable combat sports hand for hire. Adding someone of Till’s caliber to the roster was a great move by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
Even co-owner Conor McGregor rolled out some extra knockout bonuses for Till’s debut at BKFC 90.
Till, who produced a 4-0 record in boxing since his departure from UFC, came into Saturday night in the best shape of his life. The veteran was hoping his hard work outside of the ring would help his efforts in his bareknuckle debut and allow him to make a lasting impression. That’s exactly what Till did. The UFC veteran may have a suffered a brief knockdown along the way, but he still got the knockout finish against Chalmers early into the second round.
