Four FSU softball players named NFCA All-Americans

Florida State’s softball season ended with a loss to the UCF Knights in the Tallahassee Regional, but their season was incredibly successful, and the awards keep coming for the Seminoles.

This season, FSU had four NFCA All-Americans, with Isa Torres making the First Team, Ashtyn Danley making the Second Team, and Jazzy Francik and Jaysoni Beachum making the Third Team. This means that FSU has tied a school record with four All-Americans.

Torres had just two errors throughout the entire season. She had a fielding percentage of .989 throughout the entire season. In addition, she broke the school records for batting average (.530), runs scored (78), on-base percentage (.591), and slugging percentage (.978).

Danley’s 1.046 OPS and 2.09 ERA made her a true dual-threat player, and she was also named a Second Team All-American by both D1Softball and Softball America. She was third in the team with a .353 batting average and second in home runs with 12.

Francik’s 1.86 ERA led the team, helping the team get 24 wins under her watch, and she was also named a 2026 NFCA First Team All-Region player and the ACC Pitcher of the Year. She struckout 119 batters in 154.0 innings, walking 65 and holding opponents to a .183 batting average.

Finally, Beachum’s 1.220 OPS was the second highest on the team. Her starting in all 62 games made her a consistent variable in opposing teams’ game plans. She drew 54 walks and struckout just eight times.
