Jeremiyah Love embraces Titans RB legacy ahead of NFL draft

One day remains until the 2026 NFL Draft begins its three-day selection process. The Tennessee Titans have been linked to a plethora of players, including Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love. With the fourth overall selection in the first round and a need for offensive playmakers, Love is viewed as a target for the Titans.

Ahead of the draft, Tennessee Titans senior writer and editor Jim Wyatt interviewed several of their linked prospects. Jeremiyah Love was, of course, included in his interviews and had some nice things to say about the possibility of being selected by the Titans.

The Tennessee Titans have a rich history at the running back position, so it should come as no surprise that Love’s talent is viewed as a potential addition to that history. When asked what he knew about the history of the position, he name-dropped Derrick Henry for the great things he’s done. He also mentioned this:

“I’ve always known the Titans to have good running backs. If I am to get drafted there, I would continue that legacy.”

Whether it be Eddie George, Derrick Henry, or Chris Johnson, the Titans have kept a great running back. Even dating back to their Houston Oilers days, Earl Campbell was one of the greats. Jeremiyah Love seems to be already embracing the prospect of becoming one of the best running backs in the NFL, and joining a franchise with the Titans’ history at that position would suit him well.
