As previously reported, the Detroit Lions will indeed be hosting the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day.
The NFL and the Lions officially confirmed the contest and released kickoff time and TV network details. The Lions will host the Bears at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 26 in Week 12 of the NFL season on CBS.

It’s the second time in the past three seasons that the Lions will host the Bears on Thanksgiving, the sixth time in the past 12 years that the two franchises have met on Thanksgiving and the 21st all-time Thanksgiving Day meeting. The Bears own an 11-9 mark against the Lions in Thanksgiving meetings.
