Pep Guardiola’s time at the helm of Manchester City now over, fans can reflect on what was an all-time great run as manager of the Premier League giants.
Signed in 2016 after stints at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, Guardiola joined City and won every single trophy available to him.
While dominating the Premier League with six league titles in a 10-year span, Guardiola also led City to its first-ever UEFA Champions League title in 2023, a trophy the club craved under City Football Group ownership.

Most trophies won in English club history
Unsurprisingly, Sir Alex Ferguson and his record 13 Premier League titles stand atop the trophies list in English football history. He also won 10 Community Shield trophies to help prop up his total, while winning the Champions League twice as well.
Modern football legends are on the list just behind him, as Pep Guardiola sits second and Arsene Wenger third. Historical greats like George Ramsay and Brian Clough are next, while Jose Mourinho sits just behind them.

Manager with most Premier League titles
Since the inception of the Premier League in 1993, legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has by far the most Premier League titles in football history, winning 13 of them in his illustrious time at Old Trafford.
That also gives him the most English football league titles throughout the history of the nation too, more than the six of Pep Guardiola, George Ramsay, and Bob Paisley who are all tied on second, although only Guardiola coached in the Premier League era.

Manager with most FA Cup titles
Arsene Wenger won three Premier League titles, but was most successful in the FA Cup where he lifted the trophy a whopping seven times, more than any other manager.
Guardiola, meanwhile, won three FA Cups, which puts him joint-fourth with James Fielding, Charles Foweraker, and Bill Nicholson.
