Texas A&M’s 2026 roster will look somewhat different after a record ten players were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, including star transfer wide receiver KC Concepcion. Returning for his third season under center, redshirt junior quarterback Marcel Reed is coming off a career year, throwing for 3,169 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
After transferring from Mississippi State before the 2025 season, wide receiver Mario Craver exploded on the scene, quickly transforming into one of the top receivers in the country after shredding Notre Dame’s defense for a career-high 207 yards, including his electric 86-yard touchdown reception.
Possessing elite speed and NFL-level route running, Craver’s 5’9″ frame fits perfectly in the slot and is in need of a reliable X receiver with the size for 50/50 balls, leading to Elko and new OC Holmon Wiggins adding former Alabama WR Isaiah Horton, who is 6’4″ and recorded eight touchdowns during his one season with the Crimson Tide.
Together, combined with Ashton Bethel-Roman and Terry Bussey, Texas A&M’s 2026 wide receiver rotation is borderline elite, and the combination of Craver’s speed and Horton’s size provides the Aggies a significant edge in the passing game, and allows Marcel Reed to take more deep shots and allowing Craver to make plays after the catch.
Unsurprisingly, Roc Boys Football named Mario Craver and Isaiah Horton the 6th best wide receiver duo in the country entering the 2026 season, and could be the reason Texas A&M makes it back to the College Football Playoff for the second straight season.
