Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi has been busy reshaping the organization, and on Monday, he continued adding to the scouting department. Borgonzi has been adamant since he was hired that he would instill a draft-and-develop philosophy within the organization, and his moves, specifically this offseason, seem to back up that desire.
The Titans once again dipped into the college ranks, adding another scouting assistant, Kwame Agyei-Minta, who has spent the past three seasons as the assistant director of scouting at the University of South Carolina.
The Titans have not announced the move, making it difficult to tell whether it was a straight hire. The move was found on Agyei-Minta’s LinkedIn page and posted to social media by Neil Stratton.

Agyei-Minta is an intriguing hire who joined the Gamecocks’ staff following his graduation from the university in 2023. Prior to that, he interned with the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets. At the University of South Carolina, he served in a role that capitalized on his expertise in player evaluation, recruiting, and team development.
He will now join the Titans, where he can bring a different perspective to the scouting department.
