Tom Grennan is set to perform at Coventry City’s celebrations to mark the club’s return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.
The singer, an avid Sky Blues fan, will join headliners The Enemy for the music event We Are Back: Live at the War Memorial Park on Monday.
The festival is part of a day of celebrations across the city on the bank holiday and will follow Monday’s open-top bus parade, which starts at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Grennan, whose grandmother is from the city, will take to the stage at 15:00 BST, a club spokesperson confirmed.
The Sky Blues sealed automatic promotion to the Premier League on 17 April after a draw with Blackburn Rovers, following it up by sealing the Championship title against Portsmouth.
As part of the club’s celebrations to mark the promotion, the one-day music festival is being put on for 50,000 fans with local music and entertainment, from 13:00 to 19:00.
Tickets go on general sale on Wednesday and are priced at £5 for season ticket holders and £10 for general admission, plus booking fees, organisers said.
The club added the celebration at War Memorial Park would “showcase a vibrant mix of local music and entertainment, celebrating the creativity and diversity of Coventry”.
The players and staff will also be welcomed on to the stage.
The club added it wanted supporters to be able to attend both the parade and the park event, which has a 15:00 entry curfew, and asked fans with tickets to attend earlier parts of the parade route.
