GRANTSVILLE — The Travel Mug Sluggers racked up 11 hits and plate five runs in the fifth in a 10-0, five-inning romp of Cumberland Rotary in Mountain League Baseball Junior Division action on Wednesday at Grantsville Park.
TMS was led by three-hit days by Errice Weeks and Grady Miller, who both doubled. Cole Robison and Cade Brenneman had two ribbies each.
Maximo Giron was the winning pitcher, tossing three shutout innings of one-hit ball. Weeks followed with two no-hit frames.
Demarcus Isner recorded Rotary’s lone hit. Issac Broadwater was the losing pitcher.
The Travel Mug Sluggers were at Cresaptown on Thursday and take on Outdoor Power at Holler Field on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Rotary hosts Outdoor Power on Friday at 6 p.m. at Hamilton Field.
