Kyle Daukaus’ second UFC stint has been stellar, and his most recent outing against Gerald Meerschaert at Madison Square Garden in New York was a prime example.
At UFC 322, Daukaus (17-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) extended his winning streak to four in less than one minute of work. Meerschaert (37-22 MMA, 12-14 UFC) tried to apply pressure early, but Daukaus was quick to circle out to keep the fight on his terms. All it took was a left hook to send Meerschaert to the ground, and after some ground and pound, Daukaus decided to slap on a D’arce choke to get the tap.
