Vote for The Daily Herald’s Columbia area TSSAA girls Athlete of the Week

As we head into the final week of the Tennessee high school softball season, it’s time to cast your vote for The Daily Herald’s Columbia area TSSAA girls Athlete of the Week from action between May 11-16.

Here are the nominees.

Callie Brown, Lawrence County: Brown was 2-for-3 with a triple and a run in a 10-5 win over Creek Wood. She also pitched 3.2 innings, striking out five batters while allowing three hits and no earned runs.

Brinley Gilam, Lawrence County: Gilam was 2-for-3 with a home run in the 10-5 win over Creek Wood.

Reagan Stephens, Summertown: Stephens went 7-for-11 with four RBIs in three games last week as Summertown qualified for the TSSAA state tournament.

Izzy Garland, Summertown: Garland went 7-for-12 across three games with a triple, two doubles, two RBIs, five runs and two stolen bases.

Audrey Cathey, Summit: Cathey was 5-for-7 with three home runs, a triple, four RBIs and two stolen bases across three games.

Addyson Willingham, Summit: In three games last week Willingham went 4-for-10 with a home run, three doubles, four RBIs and a stolen base.
