Where Labaron Philon sits in NBA mock draft after withdraw deadline

Last week, the deadline to withdraw from the 2026 NBA draft in order to return to college next season passed, with one Alabama basketball player choosing to do so in Amari Allen.

As a result, Allen will now play for Alabama next season, while the Crimson Tide‘s other player testing the NBA draft waters, Labaron Philon Jr., did not withdraw his name, bringing an end to his college basketball career.

Regarded as a potential lottery pick, Philon is expected to come off the board early in this year’s NBA draft, with the Alabama guard set to become the first Crimson Tide player taken in the first round since both of Brandon Miller and Noah Clowney did so in 2023.

With the deadline now passed, CBS Sports’ Cameron Salerno has recently released his latest mock draft, one which has Philon currently projected as the No. 13 overall pick. Salerno has Philon selected by the Miami Heat, whom the Alabama guard has been linked to often in the pre-draft mocks at pick No. 13.

The 2026 NBA draft will take place June 23-24, with one round taking place each day. Each day will begin at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, while the first round will also broadcast on ABC.
