The latest word stemming from the boardroom at La Liga giants Barcelona will no doubt mark a source of concern for Marcus Rashford.
This comes amid confirmation that the Blaugrana are now actively working on a deal for departing Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.
It has of course been nothing short of a hectic week to date at the Spotify Camp Nou.
After Deco and co. tied up a big-money deal with Newcastle United to bring in Anthony Gordon, focus quickly turned back towards the signing of Atlético Madrid’s Julián Alvarez.
As alluded to above, though, the work of the Spanish champions appears far from finished there…
As confirmed by a whole host of outlets on Thursday evening, Barcelona have positioned themselves at the front of the queue to sign free agent Bernardo Silva, too.
Recent hours, it is claimed, have seen ‘significant advances’ towards an agreement being found between the parties.
And such developments, as alluded to above, spell altogether bad news for one of Hansi Flick’s star performers this past season: Marcus Rashford.
As confirmed by Barcelona insider Carlos Monfort of Diario Sport:
‘It’s Rashford or Bernardo, one of the two.’
Should the latter be signed over the coming days, attacker Rashford will in turn be forced to face up to life back at Manchester United.
